in reply to your letter No.1725/10 Conf. of the 20th
instant, I have the honour to atute that the Report on the Han
bour, Junk etc. Office furnished by Mr. Percebois together with
notes of two conversations held with His Excellency the Officer
Administering the Government, embody the result of a careful
study of existing conditions and possible future requirements in
the light of our experience in such work and in conformity with
the Government's letter of the 2nd May.
There is to objections to thess boing dealt with in any
manner that the Government gees fit.

I would like to add that any remarks made by Mr. Perce-
bois,
and for which i accept responsibility, are in no way per-
